Common FAQs on Crowd 2.0

Last updated on Jun 05, 2025

Crowd 2.0 offers powerful tools for user research and data-driven decisions. Below are answers to frequently asked questions to help you understand our platform’s features, plans, billing, and policies.

Is There a Free Trial?

Yes, every new workspace begins with a 14-day Starter plan trial. No credit card is required to start exploring Crowd’s features and capabilities.

What Happens When the Trial Ends?

Upon trial expiration, your workspace will pause. To continue collecting data and accessing reports, select a paid plan and add a payment method through the Billing page.

Can I Change My Plan Later?

You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time via the Billing page. Prorated charges will be automatically applied to reflect the change in your subscription tier.

How Does MTU Tracking Work?

Monthly Tracked Users (MTU) are unique visitors Crowd detects on your product or site during your monthly billing period. A user returning multiple times within the period is counted only once.

What Happens If I Exceed My MTU Limit?

Data collection will continue uninterrupted, but an overage fee of $5 USD per additional 1,000 MTU will be added to your next invoice.

What Is a Response?

A response is a fully completed survey or widget entry. Simply viewing a survey without completing it does not count as a response.

What Roles Are Included in Each Plan?

All plans include unlimited Viewer seats. Each plan also provides a set number of Editor seats, with the option to purchase additional seats for $20 each.

Can I Add Extra Editor Seats Without Upgrading the Plan?

Yes, you can add extra Editor seats by navigating to Billing > Manage Seats > Add Seats. New seats are billed immediately and renewed with your subscription.

How Does AI Chat Usage Count Toward My Limit?

Each question asked in Crowd’s AI Chat counts as one request. Requests referencing data older than 30 days consume two credits. You can monitor your usage limits on the Billing page.

Which Integrations Are Available?

Integrations are currently in active development and will be available soon. Check our public roadmap for updates on upcoming integrations.

What Is Your Cancellation Policy?

You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing page. Your subscription remains active until the end of the paid period, and no further charges will apply thereafter.

Where Can I View the Public Roadmap?
